Hands-on Oracle RAC & ASM Administration Experience required.
Experience with Data Guard (physical and logical standby) is a must.
Database performance tuning and SQL optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot database performance and configuration issues quickly in 24×7 environment.
Oracle database architecture, design, configuration, and support.
Extensively involved in QA release management process.
Providing technical assistance to developers, testers, and users.
Providing after hour**s on-call support coverage for mission critical databases.
Experience in establishing database maintenance plans and coordination with respective group.
Unix/Linux background and experience with shell scripting is desirable.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor**s or Master**s degree in Computer Science or related fields is preferred.
5+ years experience as a Database Administrator.
Experience with large complex fast paced operating environments.
A strong team player and desire to win!
